We're Back At Two Beloved West Midlands Festivals

We're Back At Two Beloved West Midlands Festivals

Festival season is approaching, and we're thrilled to announce our return to two of Birmingham's most beloved summer celebrations: Moseley Folk & Arts Festival and Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival.

After years of pouring at these incredible events, we know what festival-goers want – exceptional music paired with proper local beer. That's exactly what we're delivering this summer, bringing our award-winning brews to complement world-class performances in the heart of the West Midlands.

The action kicks off with Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July 2025. Three days of groove await, featuring Maribou State, Ezra Collective, War, and a DJ set from Groove Armada. The lineup alone would make any music lover's weekend, but pair it with our award-winning beers and you've got something special.

Come late summer, we'll be pulling pints at Moseley Folk & Arts Festival, running Friday 29th to Sunday 31st August 2025 in Moseley Park. This one's built its reputation on being genuinely family-friendly without sacrificing quality. The Waterboys headline alongside Doves, Father John Misty, Lightning Seeds, Mercury Rev, BC Camplight, and Peter Doherty. Comedy fans get Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Scott Bennett, plus writer-poet Henry Normal.

Throughout both weekends, expect fan favourites like Lawless Lager and Mad Goose Pale Ale on tap.

Alex Cosgrove from our team put it clearly: "It's fantastic to be back at Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul and Moseley Folk & Arts. Both festivals really bring the Birmingham community together, which aligns perfectly with our values as a local brewery. From the ingredients we source to the events we support, we're passionate about keeping things local and celebrating the creativity and culture of our region."

John Fell, Festival Manager for both events, knows what works: "We're delighted to have Purity back on board as festival partners. They've been an important part of both the folk and jazz festival experience for years, and they represent exactly what the festival is about – quality and community. Their beer is consistently top-notch and gives festival-goers the chance to enjoy a proper local pint while watching world-class acts."

The timing couldn't be better. 2025 marks our 20th anniversary, so expect additional celebrations throughout the year. Not bad for a brewery that's been quietly perfecting its craft since 2005.
